Akshay Kumar, who has visited the Maldives several times, took to social media to condemn “hateful and racist comments” made by some Maldivian officials against Indians. He urged people to choose Indian tourist destinations instead, highlighting the beauty and cultural richness of Lakshadweep and other Indian islands.

Salman Khan and Shraddha Kapoor also shared their love for Lakshadweep, praising its stunning beaches and thriving local culture. John Abraham and Randeep Hooda chimed in as well, recommending Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands respectively.
